David Gibson

Director

David is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, with over 25 years’ experience in residential and commercial property markets. Prior to forming Curzon, he held transactional and advisory roles with firms in Belfast and a leading international firm in London and Budapest, working with investors and developers throughout the UK and Continental Europe. David holds a bachelor’s degree from Ulster University and a postgraduate diploma from the University of Aberdeen.

Sara Duncan

Director

Sara has over 20 years pan-European experience in advisory and client-side roles, including real estate finance, development, investment strategy and risk management. Sara is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a Member of The Royal Town Planning Institute and holds a bachelor’s degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a master’s degree from the University of Reading.

Gaby Higgs

Consultant

Dr Gaby Higgs is an ARB Registered Architect who graduated with a 1st class honours degree from Newcastle University, with over 30 years experience across a range of residential and commercial projects throughout the UK and Europe.

Previously with Higgs Young Architects (established in 1995 after winning the International Europan Competition) her work has focused on listed buildings, projects in conservation areas. In 2017 she founded Gaby Higgs Architects with studios in Marylebone and York.

Gaby has been actively involved with conservation throughout her career, from volunteering at Highgate Cemetery in the 1980s, through campaigns to protect historic buildings and the environment, to her current position as Chair of the St Marylebone Society.

Her PhD (2021) investigated public participation in the planning system and included teaching at postgraduate level at the University of Westminster. This theoretical and collaborative experience contributed to her knowledge and expertise in understanding development and design within complex, historic urban locations.
